Pine Block Derby

Blake's Y guides group participates in the pine block derby each year.  Blake decided he wanted a UW themed car this year and after many hours of racing they took 3rd place...out of 83 cars.  Not bad guys!

As I was organizing some photos I came across these two that never made the blog.  Sweet little people.

PEPS Friends

Last week we got together with some old friends.  I met these mommies when our first borns were just a few weeks old.  It's fun to see how much these kiddos have grown and how much fun they still have together.

Obsessed?

The "Skull Crushers", lovingly referred to as "the Crushers" by their mommies, may be the most well documented flag football team in the history of the game.  The parents are fantastic, no yelling, ever, just cheering...and lots of video and DSLR cameras!  They boys lost their playoff game so they will not be headed back to the i9 bowl this season.  Blake could just swear that the refs made some bad calls, but truth be told, the other team was pretty awesome.

Here's a video one of the dads put together.  Can't wait to do it again next spring!

TOUCHDOWN!

After spending most of last year on defense, Blake has been able to play a little offense this season and yesterday he made his first touchdown! Chad had his GoPro, my friend was taking pictures and Grandma and Grandad were there to see it. Good job Blake, we're so excited for you!

our first hate mail

I had to giggle when I found this on our art table the other day.  First of many I'm sure.

who wore it best?

I love that Leo got to wear Blake's dragon costume! I really can't believe how quickly the time has gone.

Halloween 2014

We had another successful Halloween night!  There were lots of great costumes, plenty of food, wine and fun.
