Shivoo

My inlaws are in the process of moving to Anacortes and we couldn't be more excited.  They brought their boat up from Newport, OR the other week, so we went up to check out a few of the islands with them this past weekend. It turned out to be a beautiful day, Blake and Chad each caught a fish (Blake's was quite a bit bigger...much to my husband's dismay).  I think Grandma and Grandad had planned on cleaning their boat and putting the finishing touches on their new house...so thank you for scrapping the practical stuff to take us out, it was such a fun day.

the new view - I only had my cell phone camera, this doesn't do it justice!

a few more vacation photos

We got Blake a set of clubs for his birthday and he tried them out for the first time in Montana.  He loved it, thank you Grandpa for taking him every single time he asked to go! I think Blake loved the snack shack as much as golfing...I'm not exactly sure how many treats were consumed.

One day we went straight from the pool down to the driving range to see Blake in action.  He was pretty excited he made his putt.  He was equally excited about his refreshments.

little miss wanted to try too

After we got home from our trip I asked the kids what the best part was.  Blake said golfing and Lauren said sleeping with GG.  Can't wait to do it again!

Iron Horse Summer 2013

This year we got to go to "Camp Montana" with the Handsakers!! This summer has been full of firsts for my niece and it was so fun to be able to go on vacation together.  We had so much fun, we only sat still to sleep.  There was boating, fishing, lots and lots of swimming, golfing, the girls took swimming lessons and Blake got to go to camp, we had tons of great food and fabulous wine too!  Grammy set up a special treasure hunt so every morning when the kids woke up they would have a new treasure to find. Grammy and Grandpa's new home is beautiful and I loved being able to fit everyone under one roof.

Blake hasn't napped since he was 22 months old. We were at the pool for almost 5 hours our first day, so I'm thinking we need to put in a pool!
This one slept face down on the boat for almost an hour.
