I can't believe how fast the last nine months have gone. It doesn't seem that long ago that Chad turned to me and said "it's a boy"! I love being Blake's Mom, watching him grow and his personality develop. He is such a happy little guy. Here are a few pictures from today. We had swimming lessons and wearing his swimsuit in the living room seemed to be the best part of swimming. For some reason Blake doesn't seem to like the teacher, maybe its her scary green swim cap? The second pictures are from late this afternoon when Blake was helping make dinner!

Beautiful Day in Ballard
I love tofu!
For those of you who know my husband, you know he loves steak! Chad could eat steak for breakfast, lunch and dinner... and I think he has before. He is also the only person I know that orders phad thai with no tofu. He claims the texture bothers him, however I suspect he just doesn't like the idea of tofu. So today Blake tried tofu and LOVED it. He was trying to lick it off the tray. Blake has not tried steak yet, so Chad hopes he'll change his mind on this one.

Boat Ride
Chad and my Dad put the boat in the water on Friday. Blake and I met them at the dock for a boat ride. We took Blake out boating when he was three weeks old last summer, he slept the whole time. This time he seemed to enjoy himself, but as you can see in the last picture, laying on the floor was the most fun!

Little Snuggler

Life just got a little more interesting...
I turned around for two seconds today and when I turned back Blake was on our second stair, looking very proud of himself. He is getting so fast these days, it really keeps me on my toes!
Oh, and the reason he has no pant on is my little guy is such a string bean he keeps crawling right out of his pants.

An Afternoon with Grandpa and Grandma
My Dad and Leslie watched Blake for a bit today. Prior to leaving for Grandma and Grandpa's house I got Blake cleaned up and dressed. However, sometimes getting his diaper on turns onto a bit of a wrestling match. I thought he was all snug and secure, but while crawling across the floor at my parent's house little nuggets started coming out of Blake's pant leg! My Dad and Leslie had to strip him down and do some quick laundry, so Blake hung out in his diaper and shoes for a bit.
